Greetings! My name is Dr. Walif Aji., I have been a practicing physician since 1990.
I did my cardiology training at Columbia -Prebyterian Medical center in New york before I moved to Westchester Medical Center, New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY to finish my clinical training. I finally
formed my own practice about 8 years ago. I believe that I have assembled a practice
in which the patient is the priority, starting with a team
of professionals from our front office to our back billing room that are highly
trained and experienced to deliver the highest quality and best service. I look forward to caring
for you. |

Hello, My name is Dr. Marian Calfa , I am privileged to join as a cardiologist, Dr. Walif Aji and the Hollywood Heart Center. With a well established reputation in the community, caring and experienced support staff, it is the ideal place where I can provide that excellent, compassionate, individualized cardiovascular care that any patient deserves.
In addition, to the already established services and procedures we will be able to improve patient care with the opening of the Onco-Cardiology Clinic focused on risk stratification, prevention and treatment of the chemotherapy induced cardio-vascular toxicity.

Brief Biography
Dr. Marian Calfa is a 2010 graduate of the University of Miami, Cardiology training program. Exposure to a variety of cases among the three teaching institutions Jackson Memorial, Miami VA and University of Miami Hospital creates the foundation for his very solid clinical and imaging training. He is Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology Board certified in addition to Cardiovascular Disease Board Certification. While still in training he developed interest for the newly emerging field of Onco-Cardiology and the opportunity to improve the cardiac care of the cancer patients. Time spent in research laboratories resulted in numerous abstracts presented at ACC, AHA, ESC meetings and several articles in peer reviewed journals. |

Hey there! My name is Kathy Hewitt. When you call the office, I am most likely the
first person you will talk to. I have over 30 years of experience in office administration.
In my free time I love to play with my rescued sheepdog, Max and brew a nice cup
of coffee. I make it my personal goal to make your experience with our office and
outstanding one. |

I also help out in many other areas of the practice from time to time. I love music,
tennis and hanging out with my beautiful children. I have over 15 years of experience
in billing a coding. I think working for Hollywood Heart Center is fantastic. I
am always available to you for your billing questions. |

Hey there, my name is Sue. I am the nurse here at HHC. When I'm not in the office,
you will find me on the slopes in my ski gear. My total years of experience total
over 30 years. Of my different responsibilities, the one I consider most important
is being a liaison for you, the patient, and making sure you feel cared for when
you interact with us. |

My name is Galo. Originally from Peru, I moved hear many years ago. I have been
a nuclear technologist for over 15 years. My job at HHC is to conduct the nuclear
stress tests. But all work and no play makes a dull man. I love to dance. I am also
the resident barista for our office making sure everyone has their espresso if they
need it. I have really found a home at HHC. |
